Amelia loves food. Eating it, sharing it, shopping for it, cooking it, having it cooked for her. Now she’s turning her passion and knowledge about food towards her baby daughter Isla, and the challenge of Feeding Isla. Her blog chronicles her adventures (and misadventures) in getting good food into Isla’s belly, and teaching her the habits she’ll need to do it herself one day. It’s her quest to raise a nourished, sated, very happy and healthy eater.
The blog is customization of the wordpress theme Duet. Duet appealed because it offers 2-column text and more options for styling Amelia’s writing than most. We amended the background and fonts to represent Amelia’s work on baby nutrition, added a slider so visitors can leaf through several posts, and added illustrations, share buttons and other ways for Amelia to customize each post a little.
